Mom And Dad
These two are the parents of the three daughters. Mom is the writer of the story and the narrator for most episodes in the anime, she's patient with her children however can have a temper at times. Dad is kind however, doesn't get involved with the parenting of the kids often.
'Purritsu' may be a pen name; her husband's name has never been revealed.
Fu Matsumoto
Fu is the oldest of the three daughters, in the words of the author "acts like an older sister and has the attitude of one" however, she has a 'fairy-tale' attitude and often says non-sensical things about the world around her; the author calls this 'Oppeke' [this word is used to describe alot of things in the anime]
She is currently 23 years old.
Su Matsumoto
Su is the second daughter in the Matsumoto family. She's described as a 'free-spirit' and often does what she pleases, which often interferes with her mom's, and everyone around her's wishes. She is three years old when the anime begins.
She is currently 21 years old and involved in game development, and her own social media career.
Chi Matsumoto
Chi is the youngest daughter in the family, and a toddler in most of her anime incarnations.
She has a 'manma koso' which causes her to want food constantly; however she cannot speak and therefore has a vocabulary limited to a few phrases, which increases as the series goes on. Her 'spoiled nature' is attributed by the author to how busy she was at the time Chi was born. Apparently, she's the most popular character according to a Korean poll. She is currently 19 years old.
